Can I print anything I want on my shirt?
In compliance with Intellectual Property laws, easyshirtsonline.com has certain rules regarding the types of graphics and subject matter permitted on saleable items made and sold through our service. We will not print:
- We will not print: Unofficial merchandise
- We will not print: Names, logos, pictures or other intellectual property of musical groups or musical artists.
- We will not print: Names, logos, pictures, or other intellectual property of sports teams, colleges/universities, clubs or organizations such as Boston Red Sox, Girl Scouts of America, or Princeton University.
- We will not print: photos, caricatures, or other artwork depicting a celebrity. Just because you take a picture of a celebrity, it does not give you the right to use the photo on shirts, even if you alter the photo digitally.
- We will not print: trademarks, names or logos for companies. For example you can not use the name Coca Cola, Coke “It’s the Real Thing” or the design from the cans.
- We will not print: nudity. There will also be times when we will not print a picture of some sort of nudity just because it is in very bad taste.
- We will not print: child nudity.
- We will not print: hate material. Hate material is anything that speaks to hate of any people, creed or race.
We have sole discretion over all topics above and if easyshirtsonline.com feels any of the graphics submitted border on any of these topics, we will not print them.
With that said, here is the legal version…

I am on a budget, how do I keep my costs low?
If you are looking to keep your costs down, here are some tips...
- Quantity matters - the more you order, the more you save. We offer cumulative pricing which means you can order many different styles and colors as long as they all have the same imprint. You may change ink colors but you may incur a small fee. Please feel free to call one of our knowledgeable staff with any questions.
- Each color printed on each side adds to the cost, so the fewer colors, the less expensive.
- White blanks are generally less expensive than colored blanks.
- Some brands of T-shirts are more affordable than others (check out Gildan).
- Sponsorship can save you a $.25 a piece on T-shirts & sweatshirts.

How accurate is my art that I see on the designer?
First of all, every computer monitor displays colors a little differently, so the colors of your actual merchandise (both the colors of the blanks and the colors of your designs) may not match perfectly what you view on your screen. Secondly, embroidery and printing on non-paper surfaces are physical processes that inherently vary, so slight variations from item to item inevitably exist. Use the names of the various colors you use on the site and trust that we will produce merchandise that looks great and doesn't disappoint! Also, please feel free to use the Notes feature to pass on any special requests or concerns to the Production Staff.

After I place my order when should I expect to receive it?
As long as there are no changes to your artwork or additions to your order you should expect your order in 10-14 “real" days -- not "working" days standard delivery for t-shirts and most other items. Please note that if there are renditions on your art and we send you a proof to approve it is very important that you do so ASAP or your order will be held up.
7 day rush delivery available for t-shirts. (Since UPS does not deliver on Sunday, rush orders placed on Sunday will be considered a Monday order so they will be delivered on or before the following Monday.) If you need to use our Rush it Now! service (under 7 days) please contact easyshirtsonline.com for details. Delivery times are quoted in "real" days -- not "working" days.
Delivery times may vary during the holiday seasons. Please consult with a Sales/Service Representative if you have concerns at 402-890-5347

What images can I upload for use in designs, and how do I properly prepare those images?
Hopefully the information below will give you the guidance you need to successfully upload images for use in your designs, but please feel free to call us if you have questions or need assistance. Similarly, we'll contact you if there are problems pertaining to the artwork submitted with your order.
First of all, please make sure your image is suitable for the decoration method you're using.
- For screen-printing, we can work with black and white photographs or illustrations with clear, distinct areas of color as opposed to multiple shades and tones. You can also submit images for screen-printing that contain half tones (also known as gradients). We are able to print full color photos as well, but special quantity requirements and pricing may apply. (Soon we will be adding a special process that will allow you to print even just one shirt with no quantity or extra pricing)
- EMBROIDERY COMING SOON (Images must only contain clear, distinct areas of color. Subtle tones and fades can't be embroidered).
Secondly, ensure that you have properly prepared the image you're uploading.
- The best types of images for our service are vector illustrations created in programs such as Adobe Illustrator. These images should be saved or exported and then uploaded in *.eps format. Before saving or exporting as *.eps, please (1) flatten the image, (2) outline fonts, and (3) convert to Pantone or RGB colors.
- Raster images, such as those created in Adobe Photoshop should be saved or exported as *.gif, *.tif, or *.jpg files. You're best off using *.gif with a transparent background (if that is, in fact, what you want). Most importantly, such images should be high-resolution. The final product won't look good unless your image is at least 200 dots per inch (DPI) at the actual size you want it printed. That means that if you want to print a *.gif image at a size of 5" x 5" on a T-shirt, it should be about 15" x 15" on your 72 DPI computer monitor.
If supplying art in raster format please see the Raster Section below
Vector Artwork: PREFERRED
This is the most preferred format for delivering art. If any fonts are contained in the file, please convert the fonts to paths/curves (create outlines).
Common Vector File Formats:
Placing a raster image in a vector program then saving the file as vector artwork is not
the same thing and will not be accepted as vector artwork.
Raster Artwork
When supplying artwork in raster format please designate all colors as 100% of CMYK or a Spot Color as stated above.
For best results (and to save on art charges), please supply raster images at actual size for our reference,300 dpi or higher and WITHOUT the shirt color art placed in the background.
Screen resolution (72 dpi) graphics will not look good unless the image is approximately three times larger than the actual print size.
Common Raster File Formats:
- TIFF (PREFERRED)
- JPEG
- GIF
- PSD
- PDF
- BMP
File Formats NOT Accepted. Including but not limited to:
- Word Documents
- Excel Documents
- PowerPoint Documents
Please indicate how many colors will be used in Screen Printing your project. Example: 4/C Process and/or Spot.
If you are using Pantone Matching System colors, use a Pantone Matching System swatch book to choose your colors due to the inability of monitors to accurately display Pantone Matching System colors.

I want embroidery done on my garments but I don’t see a way to request it.
Unfortunately our designer isn't optimized for embroidery files at this time. The hat section is priced for embroidery up to 6,000 stitches. In the rare event that your design goes over that, you will be informed of any extra charges. Make your design and save it then call customer service and they will be happy to take your order for the garments and apply your design to them. 12 piece minimums for most embroidered items.

I have a 10,000 piece order that I would like easyshirtsonline.com to print for me, is there any problem with that?
Large orders not a problem just note that orders over 2500 pieces may take a few more days for production and shipping is usually longer since orders that large are sent via UPS freight or other freight carrier and require more transit time.
